I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I earned my law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where I was Articles Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review.
I spent my first two years in private practice representing plaintiffs in consumer protection and antitrust class actions. I started my own practice in 2008.
I am licensed to practice in the State of California. I am a member the National Association of Consumer Advocates and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. I perform pro bono work at the Bar Association of San Francisco's Consumer Debt Defense and Education Clinic.
